Hollister at Pacific View Mall (Ventura, CA)
We recently completed a closed remodel of an existing 6,243 SF Hollister store, updating it to meet the current prototype design. Interior demolition including removing the existing storefront and existing ceilings along the width of the new storefront. Existing lighting and mechanical items were relocated as required or disposed of if not re-used.
Demo also included removal of an existing wall which separated the existing front two sales rooms and existing lounge. Selected existing sales cabinetry was salvaged and relocated per the reconfigured floorplan. After demo, a new soffit was constructed across the opening created by removal of the separation wall. A new metal storefront system as well as glass and glazing were installed. All new finishes were extended to the existing and finished smooth. Accessibility upgrades were completed in the restrooms and fitting rooms. A new electronic video wall at the store’s entrance became the new focal point for customers entering the store.
Our scope of work included rough carpentry and finish carpentry (cabinets, trim, panel); new metal storefront system including storefront glass and glazing; mirrors; hollow metal/wood doors, frames, and hardware; framing walls (metal studs, drywall, and drywall finish); acoustical and gypsum ceiling systems; flooring included ceramic tile flooring, wood flooring including subflooring, and matching existing mall floor tile; interior painting of all millwork, trims, walls, ceilings; fire suppression including sprinkler piping and sprinklers; plumbing fixtures; ductwork and associated items for HVAC install; air balance, and electrical.
The project was completed in April 2017.
