The Controller is responsible for all aspects of the company's accounting practices and financial management. In doing so, the Controller maximizes return on financial assets by establishing accounting/financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. They are responsible for the accounting/financial operations of the company including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Controller:
- Full-time position.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in the construction industry is required.
- CPA designation is highly preferred.
- Proficient in financial software (Sage 300 CRE/Timberline) and MS Office Suite.
