While many of us spend Memorial Day celebrating the end of the school year and the start of the summer season, we can't forget that Memorial Day is observed as a reminder to us all to give gratitude for all the brave members of our military who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
It's a day to remember them.
It's a day to honor them.
It's a day show our respect for them.
In the words of President Harry S. Truman, "Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices."
To those fallen heroes and their loved ones, we are thinking of you. We thank you.
