When the company began, furniture making was shifting to large scale production to keep pace with the demand of American consumers. Bassett remains true to its principles - to create high quality, stylish furniture available to everyone.
Since 2018, we have successfully executed numerous projects for Bassett, encompassing a spectrum from new store finish-outs to remodels and insurance claim repairs. One noteworthy accomplishment is the relocation of the McKinney Avenue store to Inwood Village. Our role as the chosen general contractor for the tenant improvement project involved bringing to life the new prototype design. The transformation required a new storefront system & façade, interior demo, and complete finish-out of the existing retail space to accommodate the new 11,709 SF Basset furniture store. The finished project showcases eight distinct showroom areas, a dedicated patio furniture section, an inviting great room, and a spacious design center that stands as the store’s central focal point. The design center offers an array of selections, including lighting, textile materials, rugs, and drapery.
In addition to the main areas, the store also includes various ancillary spaces, such as an I.T. room, back-of-house storage, private office, breakroom, and separate restroom facilities for both women and men. The successful completion of this project highlights our commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting the specific needs of our valued clients like Bassett.
