Partner, Duane Morris
John is co-chair of the Duane Morris Healthcare Litigation division of the Trial Practice Group and a member of the firm’s governing Partners Board. He practices in the area of litigation with a focus on healthcare bankruptcy, commercial litigation, construction, energy litigation, and real estate. John represents clients nationwide and has litigated cases in more than 30 states and has represented numerous clients in asset purchase litigation in Delaware.
John is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, where he was articles editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal, and the University of Texas at Austin.
John has practiced construction law in Texas and across the United States for the past 20 years and has represented Westwood Contractors as its lead counsel for the past 18 years. He has litigated disputes in courtrooms and arbitrations in 34 states.
In addition, John serves on the advisory board for the Retail Contractors Association. He has taught as an adjunct professor at Texas Christian University from 2010-2021 in both the master’s and undergraduate programs.
